A note from the therapist
I believe all aspects of a massage are important, from the pressure, to making sure you are warm and comfortable. That is why I pay attention to the little things. If you prefer silence during your massage I will not chatter throughout. I like to tuck your feet in to keep you warm, have the music at the right volume, the heated blanket on, and my hands warmed for your treatment. I also do not book clients ‘back-to-back’ so you receive the full time you have paid for. All these little extra touches go towards giving you the best possible experience.

Questions?

Additional information for the Swedish Massage treatment is available below. If you cannot find the information you want below please feel free to contact us and we will happily answer your questions.

New & nervous?

At our initial consultation I hope to make you feel comfortable and at ease. During the treatment you will remain covered up, all but the body part I am working on. I will always make sure you are warm and comfortable throughout. This includes use of a heated blanket and leaving the room while you get dressed and undressed. Please feel free to call for an informal chat.

What do I wear?

During the massage you be in your underwear. It is best not to wear a bra (girls) but if you would prefer to keep it on you may. You will be covered up the entire time, with just the body part being worked on exposed.

Is there any reason why I can't have a Swedish massage?

If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy you cannot have a Swedish massage. A full consultation will be carried out before the massage. Some serious illnesses may require a doctor’s note of approval before your first massage.

Is there any aftercare advice to follow?

Drink water, avoid excessive caffeine and alcohol. Try not to engage in strenuous activity.
